Modern Therapy for High-Achieving Women in Houston
Support for anxiety, relationship struggles, relational trauma, and the quarter-life crisis.
Being a high-achieving woman in Houston often means moving through a world where success is expansive, fast-moving, and deeply tied to opportunity. There’s a certain standard—career growth, social presence, relationships, lifestyle—and from the outside, it can look like everything is unfolding exactly as it should.
But underneath that, it can feel like you’re always “on.” Always navigating, performing, adapting, and keeping up with the pace.
In a city as dynamic and sprawling as Houston, where long commutes, demanding careers in industries like energy, healthcare, or tech, and full schedules are the norm, it’s easy to internalize the pressure to stay productive and keep pushing forward. To keep proving yourself, even when you’ve already achieved so much.
Many of the women I work with in Houston are highly capable and driven, yet navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, or a quiet sense that something feels off. You might look successful on paper, but still feel disconnected, restless, or unsure if the life you’re building actually aligns with who you are.
Therapy becomes a space where you don’t have to keep it all together. A place to step outside the constant movement, get honest about what’s no longer working, and reconnect with yourself beyond expectations—so you can create a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and genuinely your own.
Support for women in Houston navigating anxiety, burnout, relationships, and an existential crisis.
Change is possible, even for the part of you that might wonder why, despite everything you’ve accomplished, it still doesn’t feel like enough. The career, the relationships, the lifestyle—it can feel like there’s a certain standard to meet, and unspoken expectations to maintain it.
Between long workdays Downtown, and evenings that stretch from The Heights to Montrose, life can move quickly. And somewhere in that pace, many women find themselves carrying a more private experience—persistent anxiety, pressure to keep up, or a disconnection from themselves.
With the right support, you can begin to step out of that cycle. Therapy creates space to look inward, make sense of your patterns, and move through your life with more clarity, intention, and self-trust.
I work with high-achieving women in Houston who are used to being capable, reliable, and composed on the outside, while internally navigating burnout, perfectionism, or a sense of emptiness or misalignment. My approach integrates relational therapy, existential exploration, and evidence-based tools, with a style that is collaborative, grounded, and thoughtfully challenging.
This work isn’t just about managing stress—it’s about realignment. Together, we’ll slow things down, explore what no longer feels true, and begin reshaping your life in a way that feels more authentic and sustainable.

Specialized therapy in Houston for high-achieving women who are ready to step out of constant performance mode and into a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and genuinely their own—especially within the fast-paced, high-expectation environments of areas like River Oaks, The Heights, Midtown, or Energy Corridor.
Together, we’ll work to untangle patterns that no longer fit and soften the pressure to constantly push forward—creating space that can feel hard to access in a city built around long workdays, commutes, and the quiet expectation to always keep going. We’ll reconnect with a way of living that feels more honest, steady, and aligned with who you are at your core—beyond achievement, responsibility, or the need to hold everything together.
What Our Work Together Might Look Like —
Whether we look at your relationships, emotional patterns, values, or sense of self, we’ll do so from a holistic view. Together, we may explore:
-
We’ll clarify what matters most to you and use that as a compass for decisions and boundaries.
Many high-achieving women are used to meeting expectations, staying productive, and keeping everything running smoothly—often at the expense of their own needs.
In therapy, we slow down and identify the values that actually feel meaningful to you, not just the ones you’ve been taught to prioritize.
-
We’ll identify patterns that spike anxiety and practice more grounded, realistic ways of responding. Anxiety often follows familiar loops—like overthinking decisions, feeling responsible for everyone else’s needs, or putting intense pressure on yourself to get everything right.
In therapy, we’ll slow those moments down and look at what’s driving them so you can start responding differently. Over time, you’ll learn practical ways to calm your nervous system, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and approach situations with more clarity, balance, and self-trust.
-
You’ll learn tools you can actually use in real life to regulate stress and build resilience. Instead of just talking about what’s hard, we’ll focus on practical strategies that help you steady yourself in the moment—whether that’s calming your nervous system, interrupting spirals of overthinking, or creating small habits that make daily stress feel more manageable.
Over time, these tools help you respond to challenges with more flexibility and confidence, rather than feeling overwhelmed or stuck in the same patterns.
-
We’ll explore how old dynamics show up in current relationships, and we’ll work on how to shift them. Many of the patterns that create tension or anxiety in relationships—like people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, or fearing conflict—often have roots in earlier experiences.
In therapy, we’ll gently unpack these patterns and notice how they continue to play out in your life today. From there, we’ll practice new ways of communicating, setting boundaries, and showing up in relationships so they feel healthier, more balanced, and more aligned with who you are now.

We’ll strengthen confidence and create goals that match who you are (not who you “should” be).
Many people have spent years following expectations from family, work, or culture, which can make it hard to know what they genuinely want.
In therapy, we’ll sort through those pressures and focus on what feels meaningful and authentic to you. From there, we’ll set goals that feel realistic and aligned with your values, helping you move forward with more clarity, self-trust, and direction.
-
Therapy is your space to talk about anything and everything. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for, but it’s often helpful for me to understand your past experiences so I can best support you in the present.
In our first few sessions, we’ll focus on your background, current challenges, and goals for therapy. As we continue, you’re welcome to bring in whatever is on your mind, whether that’s anxiety, relationship struggles, work stress, life transitions, body image, sexuality, or anything else that feels relevant. Nothing is off the table in therapy!
Therapy is a process that takes time, consistency, and patience. You can expect a collaborative experience with a balance of compassion, curiosity, and honest feedback designed to help you grow, heal, and create lasting change in your life.

Like most specialty providers, I am out of network. I’m happy to provide a superbill (receipt) you can submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement this way. You may also use HSA/FSA funds to pay for therapy sessions.

I find that I work best with clients who are motivated for therapy and feel ready to create meaningful change in their lives. My approach tends to resonate most with people who are interested in exploring the root cause of patterns rather than seeking a quick fix or surface-level solutions.
You’ll likely get the most out of our work together if you’re open to exploration, feedback, and self-reflection, and if you’re committed to showing up consistently for yourself and the process.
My approach is also very relational, meaning I see our relationship as the foundation for healing and growth. This is why therapeutic fit is so important.
If you feel ready to invest in your personal growth and commit to the process, there’s a good chance we’ll be a great fit. I’ll bring my full presence and care to our sessions, and I ask that you come equally invested in your own growth journey.
